Reviewing for exams

First off, I want to say take a deep breath. Exams are important, but you can do it.
Secondly, if you have any questions, want to go over notes, or just review - come find me. Anytime. I will help.

Now, with that said, JUNIORS, if you missed class on Thursday or Friday we reviewed for our exams.

We also discussed Shakespearean Sonnets. Look at the information on pages 272-273 in your book. We practiced using Sonnets 29 and 106. Just remember/know: Shakespearean Sonnets are 14 lines. They follow a pattern of :ABAB CDCD EFEF GG. The four lines = a quatrain. The two lines = a couplet. The quatrains each introduce an idea or image. The couplet wraps it up in a conclusion.

Always break down these poems this way. If you have any questions, see me. Good luck!!!
